About Smoke Shack BBQ
Not only do Chris and Kate Conger have a love for food, but traveling as well. After attending Ole Miss together they traveled to New Zealand where they lived and worked in various hotels and restaurants. After New Zealand Chris went back to his passion, BBQ. He previously worked at, SMOKE, an upscale BBQ restaurant in Dallas with Chef/Owner Tim Byres, Chris Jeffers, and Chris Zeilke. Kate has traveled around the world and has a passion for adventure. Nothing could better suit this couple than being in different places every week, doing what they love most.
The Smoke Shack (located at hwy410 & Nacogdoches Monday-Saturday 11am-3pm) was built by Chris with the help of his family and friends. They hope for their business to continue to grow with more food trucks and various types of cuisine!.
