Van Leeuwen Ice Cream was started by brothers, Ben and Pete Van Leeuwen, and friend, Laura O'Neill, in Greenpoint, Brooklyn in 2008. Their mission was to create an ice cream brand that not only paid attention to the quality and the details, but one that also appreciated the integrity and authenticity of how it's made. The trio developed a cult following around their ice cream brand, inclusive to everyone and offering a premium experience every time. What started as a single buttery yellow truck in Brooklyn, New York, has now grown to 22 scoop shops in NYC and LA and 700 grocery doors across 35 states.
