I was one of those people who said they would NEVER sing Karaoke! The thought of getting up on a stage in front of a few friends and a bunch of strangers was nerve wracking to say the least. Then I was invited to a private karaoke party. It was in London, and I was in an adventurous frame of mind, so I agreed to go. But, I said I would only sing in the background – definitely not with a microphone in hand. Well, funny how things change. By the end of that first night, you could not pry the microphone from my fingers. The setting was perfect. A small, intimate group of friends (co-workers in my case), a well designed private room, the latest touch screen technology (no sticky karaoke notebooks to flip through), party lights and all of the right songs to choose from – and of course some liquid courage. They even had wigs, tambourines, and air guitars! Ever since, I have been looking for that same London experience here in Atlanta. Sure, there are some private karaoke venues around town, but nothing like the ones in London. So, we decided to bring that experience to Atlanta, with a twist! We wanted the ability to bring private karaoke directly to our customers, and not be tied to one area of town.
