Mom's Grilled Cheese Truck serves comfort food like Mom made, located downtown Vancouver at the corner of Howe Street and West Georgia, right by the Vancouver Art Gallery. Originally from London Ontario, Cindy Hamilton has been a part of Vancouver since 1995. As a 20 year veteran of the food industry including restaurant, catering and movie/TV Craft Services, Cindy is the owner and operator of Mom’s Grilled Cheese Truck, part of the Vancouver street vendor food scene. Located downtown Vancouver daily at the corner of Howe Street and West Georgia right by the Vancouver Art Gallery, Cindy offers up her vast “foodie” experience and has catered and provided Craft Service for numerous films and commercials. If you know Cindy, than you’ve already become become familiar with her amazing attitude, generosity and heart of gold. Cindy has been responsible for feeding crews up to 300 people, providing first aid, adhering to tight budgets, accommodating special requests and is able to work under very adverse and fast paced conditions. Cindy’s experience also includes operating a Craft Services business in China called China Star Catering. Her film credits include Kill Bill, The Great Raid, Ultra Violet, The Painted Veil, Mission Impossible 3, The Kite Runner, The Mummy 3 and Ramona and Beezus (her Niece’s favourite movie). Cindy speaks English, French, Mandarin and Patois and also her Certifications in Food Safe and Level 3 First Aid. From a state of the art mobile kitchen with free smiles and a great attitude on the menu, Mom’s Grilled Cheese Truck is an innovative leader in the highly publicized Vancouver street food movement.
