Batter Up

We opened our doors in 2011 at a little take out only store front in a old San Franciscan neighborhood still unchanged from the tech and modern gentrification of the city. We make our batter fresh and hand dip our corndogs made to order each and everyday since day 1. Our corndogs are more than just your typical store bought corndog or even the ones you find at your county fair. We source our gourmet sausages/hot dogs locally from a San Francisco based meat factory and sometimes use other local Bay Area gourmet sausages to give you the best product we can offer. We offer over 9 types of gourmet corndogs including vegetarian options. We have specials that include some "frankenstein" corndogs like the MadBum that is 1/3 Louisiana Hot Link, 1/3 Mozzarella Cheese, 1/3 Chicken Apple Sausage. Besides our gourmet corndogs we also offer side dishes such as fries, potato salad, coleslaw and pasta salad. We also offer deep fried desserts like Oreos, Twinkies, Reese's and more which have become almost another main reason why customers come find us. In 2017 we launched our food truck and offer our gourmet corndogs at outdoor events, breweries, and food truck parks. We have done catering service and are in the process of making a new website made with the option of catering, but we would like to expand our offerings in more catering outlets and that is why we are applying at Roaming Hunger today. We have been a darling local success with awards from SfWeekly for best eats, have also been publicized in 7x7 and have over 300 Yelp reviews with a rating of 4.5 Yelp stars. There are also customers that come from far away as distant as Texas, Germany, London and even Japan showing that we have become a destination for tourists. We have hundreds of loyal fans who search for us when we are on the food truck and can't wait to add more. We hope you Roaming Hunger can help take us there!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to rent a Carnival Food truck in San Francisco?

The average price range for renting a food truck for catering in San Francisco is between $800-$2,500.

You can also use our Food Truck Catering Cost Calculator(see above) to see starting prices in your area (although it will not be cuisine specific).

Prices will vary depending on cuisine, and dessert and beverage food trucks will be less expensive than savory food trucks.

Adding drinks or dessert options (with a savory food truck) will increase the price per person by $1-$5.

If you're having a smaller corporate event of 50 guests or less, you'll probably be affected by the food truck catering minimums, and the price per person will increase.

Typical service times are 2-3 hours. Additional hours will increase total costs. Travel fees can also affect pricing. Food trucks may charge a per-mile fee if your event is outside their normal travel radius (20-30 miles).

How do I get pricing, availability, and catering packages for Carnival Food food trucks near me?

If your event details are confirmed and your budget meets the minimum (see above), you can get catering packages and quotes by submitting a catering request. Click any of the Get Started buttons on this page.
