Food Trucks

Although visitors might be more likely to come to Long Beach for the Aquarium of the Pacific or RMS Queen Mary, there is a good chance they will come back for the relaxed artistic vibe, and good food.  Public artwork is put on display on many streets and people frequently travel the city by bike rather than car.  People here enjoy good food with good company, including pets where it is allowed.

What better way to partake of the down to earth culture of Long Beach than by trying out one of the city's food trucks?  There are plenty of options whether you want something authentic, or are craving classic American comfort food.  And of course, taco trucks are never in short supply.

Best Food Trucks in Long Beach

Burger trucks

Belly's Sliders & Wings is a great place to indulge in comfort food with a menu of fries drizzled in sauce, chicken sliders, wings, and even chicken & waffles.  While they can be found all over LA, check their Instagram page for their location.

Taco Trucks

While the city has many taco truck options, Manny's Tacos is one to try in Long Beach.  Explore the menu for various tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and more.  They can be found on Ocean Blvd and Magnolia weekdays from 7am-2pm.

Dessert trucks

You'll be able to find ice cream trucks roaming the streets on warm days. For a delectable taste of authentic French pastry, you'll want to try Veronique's Bakery. While more of a tent and drop-off operation, their French chef has passion for her work and always uses fresh ingredients and authentic recipes.

Finding Food Trucks Near You in Long Beach

Food trucks are sometimes tricky to track down since they frequently change locations.  If you are not looking for a specific food truck, then knowing the food truck hot spots is the way to go.  Some local Breweries regularly host Food Truck events, such as Trademark Brewing.  Check their Instagram page for the weekly line-up.

Steel Craft in Bixby Knolls is a relatively recent addition to Long Beach that has given a home to local food vendors, who serve their food here out of shipping containers.  You can eat good food community-style, on picnic benches next to strangers who may become friends.
